If you have written a Breath of Fire fanfiction that you would like to submit to the Library, here are a few guidelines that should help you. All the submitted stories will be checked by the Librarian and I will hold the right to turn down any story that I don't feel would fulfill the criteria (see below). Don't worry about it too much, though… I reserve this right of refusal only to the stories that really deserve it. If you have written your story with a reasonable amount of taste, it's pretty likely that it will be accepted to the Library's collection.

Criteria
The story you submit must fulfill these points before it will be accepted to the Library. However, they serve mostly as guidelines for the Librarian, and the final decision whether I will accept the story or not will always be based on my own consideration.
1) Obviously, it must have something to do with Breath of Fire.
2) It must not contain lemon, XXX, extreme descriptions of violence, or other such material that is generally found not-fitting. Notice that I am talking about "extreme" descriptions: being basically fantasy genre, it is expectable to encounter a certain amount of violence included in these fanfictions. However, stories where these descriptions extend to tastelessness will not be accepted to this Library.
Format guidelines
These should help you to prepare your story before submitting it to the Library. Please, follow these guidelines, for they will make the Librarian's job a lot more easier and your story can be added to the Library much more quickly.
1) Write the stories using DOC, RTF or other common document file formats used by Wordpad or Microsoft Word. The Librarian will be taking care of HTML-coding.
2) If the story file is large (over 100kb) or you are sending more than one file at the same time, use Winzip to compress the files into a single ZIP archive. This will make the files much easier to work with.
3) Write a short introduction for the story. This introduction will be used in the Library's story list to tell the readers what kind of tale they are going to read. See the Library's List of Stories for an example of how to write an introduction.
4) Write down the pen name under which you want to submit your story to the Library. Also write down the e-mail address you would like to be included to the story, if it is different from the one you use to send the story to the Librarian. If you do not want your e-mail address to be included into the story, be sure to mention this.
5) If you have some kind of additional material to go with the story, such as art or music, it can also be submitted to the Library alongside the story. However, please stay reasonable -- the Library will not be hosting Mp3s, video files or such.
6) If the story is already hosted somewhere in the 'net, but you would like it also to be displayed in the BoF Fanfic Library, it can always be directly linked. However, the Librarian will not be responsible for any changes done to these external pages.

Breath of Fire Fanfic Library has no relations to Capcom or the official Breath of Fire series. This site is completely non-profit. It was made by fans, to house free homage created by fans, and it is meant for the pleasure of other fans for BoF series. However, please also remember that although fanfiction, each of these stories belong to their respective authors and are not to be taken or modified without their permission.
